Persecuted Church is an event for middle and high school youth meant to help them understand the persecution that exist globally for Christians who live in hostile environments. All students are encouraged to wear warm, dark clothing and bring flashlights, as the experience is played in the dark and partly outside.

This 3 week series examines the idea of being witnesses for Christ. In this series, we will discover the call for all believers to witness and testify about the good news of Christ, learn to rely on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and explore the importance of the corporate witness of the church to the world.

This is also the Sunday that Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child are due.

More than 360 million Christians worldwide suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith. That’s a staggering 1 in 7 believers. According to the ministry Open Doors, the number of countries where Christians suffer high and extreme levels of persecution has almost doubled in the last 30 years. Ultimately, the world’s greatest problem – lostness – is growing every day. As believers, we have the solution to that problem – the gospel. When we pray for persecuted believers, God uses their witness to inspire gospel transformation among the lost.

All basketball players must attend one in person evaluation in order to determine the skill level of each player to ensure proper team placement. Evaluations should only take 15-20 minutes to complete.
